Potatoes - Victoria
Dutch; recent. More resistant to blight than Maris Piper. Slightly floury; good yielder in pots, with larger tubers
than many varieties. Tubers good shape; smooth and compact rather than elongated. Flavour and texture good. I haven't seen
any flowers on this variety yet.
This is a fairly new variety, and I'm told that it's named after Mrs. Beckham, not the Queen.
