Potatoes - sharpe's express
First Early, originated Sleaford, 1900. Good flavour, floury (unusual for first early); steam
rather than boil.
I had
trouble with blight and a very poor yield - less than 1lb per pot. Haulms small. No flowers. Nevertheless I will try again; the flavour is excellent, and the year when I grew them was a bad one for blight. Friends tell me that this is well worth growing.
