Light Programme, Drama, 1967

Drama on the BBC Light Programme in 1967
(The Light Programme ran from 1945 to 1967. )

On 29th September 1967, the Light Programme closed down (actually at 0202 on 30th). It was replaced by two new stations, BBC Radio 1 (pop music, medium wave) and BBC Radio 2 (light music, long wave and VHF). This listing covers the full year to 31st December - after the closure of the Light programme, this list will cover BBC Radio 2.

BBC Radio 2 was broadcast on long wave band (200 kHz) until 1978 when it moved to medium wave. VHF (fm) initially was mainly Radio 2 but shared between Radio 1, 2, and London at various times as the years progressed.
