[There is no other record of this work by Symons. An apparently very different work with this title is credited to fellow crime writer Edgar Wallace, and there was even an adverse copyright claim over it, but not by Symons.]
[Julian Symons is credited with "The Man Who lost his wife" and "the Man who killed himself" and "The man who hated television". Several records indicate those are the only three "The Man who" stories he wrote. This play is a bit of a mystery. Edgar Wallace is also credited with "The Man who bought London" and "The Man who knew nobody".]
[Note that Miss Carruthers is from Christie's "Miss Marple", Watson you know- and Eeeyore and friends by Milne- who was a member of the crime writers cricle ("The Red Barn Mystery") ]
