Home Front:
Radio Series 2014-2018

A long-running drama serial tracking the fortunes of a group of characters on the home front as they try to maintain normality while Britain is involved in the First World War.

The episodes are generally 11 minutes long, M,T,W,Th,F, with the omnibus edition of 55m on the Friday evening. The programmes are complementary and completely unrelated to the episodes of "Tommies"; there are no links between the two series, other than the fact that (as far as is possible) each episode relates to what was occurring exactly one hundred years earlier, to the day. So the episode "4Jan17" refers to events on 4 Jan 1917 and was broadcast on 4 Jan 2017.

The episodes are listed in reverse chronological order, for ease of finding the most recent broadcasts. The Monday episodes are highlighted. Compiling the information is a big job; it will take a while.

If anyone involved in the series would like to write about it (or assist), please get in touch.
