English Apples - Hoary Morning
Raised Somerset; recorded 1819. Bloom on skin; initially pale green, then red stripes over yellow base, firm, large, flat and round.
Sweet, rich taste; ok for
cooking, when it keeps its shape. Pick mid-Sept; keeps until Dec.
