English Apples - Elstar
Actually a Dutch apple, introduced 1972. Ingrid Marie x Golden Delicious. Rich flavour; sweet, crisp and juicy.
Heavy cropper. Planted widely in Europe and exported. Also grown in Washington, USA. Stores until about December.
