The Chilcot pieces are similar in style to
those of Handel and Loeillet. Handel's suite
HWV 454 is an early work. Bustijn was
Flemish and was admired by Bach. The
Aylesford pieces were first published in 1928.
They were assembled by Jennens, Handel's
librettist, who left them to his cousin, the Earl
of Aylesford, in 1773.
I have varied the material on the repeats, as was the custom.
