My impressions: Pasquini: ingenious and
intricate; Chilcot: reminiscent of Handel
Matheson: fluent and good-tempered;
Paradies: flowing and precise with beautiful
melody lines; Cabanilles: very Spanish in
flavour; Scarlatti: a box of keyboard fireworks.
I have varied the material on the repeats, as was the custom.
