My impressions: Pasquini: ingenious and
intricate; Chilcot: reminiscent of Handel;
Matheson: fluent and good-tempered with a
few smudges (I've altered them); Paradies:
beautiful melody lines; Scarlatti : freshness
and variety and hints of Spain.
I have varied the material on the repeats, as was the custom.
