This is the funeral / thanksgiving service for Barbara Deacon, 62-year resident of Sutton-in-the-Elms; mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, passionate worker for the disabled and the aged; walker and volunteer and one-time wife of David Deacon.The service: 25 November 2024 at Countesthorpe Crematorium, Leicestershire.
The music consisted of three pieces of music composed and played by Nigel Deacon on the piano; a piece by Arvo Part and finally 'Autumn Leaves' by Eric Clapton.
