Potatoes - Roseval

Attractive red potato rather susceptible to blight. Haulms small; yield in 2 gallon pot about 1.25 lbs. Salad potato, yellow flesh. Stems red; uunusual plant. Pink blush on some tubers just under the skin. My container-grown plants had no flowers.

Alan Wilson's book describes them as more mildly flavoured than Ratte, but quite waxy and pleasant. The variety dates from 1950 and the parentage is Vale x Rosa.
