Potatoes - Record

Dutch; early maincrop. 1932. Excellent flavour; extremely floury. Tastes very good no matter how cooked - though steam rather than boil, or you may get potato soup.

Blight resistance 5. Yield in containers about 1.5 lb. My plants had no flowers.

These were the favourite of Lawrence Hills. They were used for many years for making crisps in the UK, but have been replaced by HERMES since lighter coloured crisps are now the fashion.
