A man sentenced to death leaves the money he has stolen to his two young children; they are the only people who know where it is. A fanatical preacher finds out, and pursues them, relentlessly. He will stop at nothing, not even murder. Set during the Prohibition era, in America. ABC rpt. c1998 in two episodes; original BBC broadcast 3 Jul 1993.
