English Apples - Pixie
| |||
Raised by N.Potter of R.H.S., 1947. Jane Morgan says it's probably a Cox's orange seedling or Sunset seedling.
Very aromatic, with plenty of sugar and acidity. Harder and sharper than Cox. Rather small fruit to be
commercial, but popular garden variety. Graham Deacon adds - fruit quality is exceptional; is a volume cropper -
must be thinned.
