Large red cooking apple; Peasgood Nonsuch x Dumelow's seedling. Ripens to white, heavily flushed with crimson. Good cooker;
season approximately December to April. The tree is brittle and heavily laden branches need propping to
avoid breakage. Can be used as dessert apple, like Bramley, late in the season. Resistant to scab.
