Favourite potatoes - Harmony

A person contacting the website writes

"Harmony is a daughter of Nadine. Lower tuber numbers than Nadine, slightly higher seed rates and higher baker content."

My comments -This is another Caithness variety, introduced 1998, early maincrop. It looks very similar to Nadine (to my uneducated eyes) and is now (May 2010) being stocked at my local Co-Op. It is a smooth, pale yellow skinned tuber with a decent yield in pots (usually between 2-3 lb when I grew them in a 3 gallon container), no scab, and cooks firmly. A good all-round potato of mild flavour.
