Potatoes: Bonnie-Dundee

Potato very similar in appearance to Red Duke of York, but rounder in shape. I think it's uncommon - no mention of it in Alan Romans' book or Alan Wilson's book. Some tubers have a redfleshed 'ring' under the skin.

Somewhere I have seen a reference to this ... I believe it is a fairly recent Scottish variety; dating from (my guess) 1960-ish.

The flowers are reddish purple. I had no leaf blight, but there was some tuber blight.
