Favourite potatoes - Apache

So far we've not been able to get any seed of this variety, but a pack bought from Sainsbury's should provide us with a few suitable tubers.

The potatoes are floury by not excessively so (I'd estimate the dry matter at about 6). The flavour is good and the flesh is pale yellow. Steaming is probably the best cooking method. The colour is most attractive though fades quite a lot on cooking, especially boiling.
