Potatoes - Annabelle

Annabelle is an early variety with a high proportion of long tubers. It is an excellent salad potato; waxy yellow flesh and yellow skin. The tubers are generally small, and it is very suitable for growing in containers. Susceptible to scab.

I am grateful to Chris Hitchcock and William Whitehead for permission to photograph this sample, which was on display at Painswick Rococo Gardens during October 2008.
