Introduced 1826. Very late; may be necessary to pick in October if windy. Ripens in December; will often
keep until March. Wide, spreading tree. Characteristic shape; unusually with short bright red stripes.
Rich, aromatic flavour; flesh yellow, juicy and sweet.
