John Park & Frank Johnson
John Park and Frank Johnson wrote a radio play called Charley from Outside, about a mother who kills her autistic child. It was broadcast on LBC on 28 August 00, and simultaneously webcast worldwide, which is how many people picked it up. The site

The play made a big impact at the time, and is known around the world in the autistic community. It received a big award, and John wrote an article about it in the Guardian.
Frances Barber played the mother in the radio play, which is now being rewritten for the stage.
